Aim of Project

To make available this technological innovation to the population at large at the most economical cost possible. Defluoridation is a necessity as fluorosis is incurable once it sets in. mainly the victims are in the rural areas, and urban areas where due to non development of proper surface water infrastructure has led to over exploitation of ground water. Here also mainly the poorer people suffer, as they cannot afford the very expensive bottled waters available in the market.

• To achieve the objective of good drinking water at low cost and still maintain the safety standards is the main aim of this project.
• As fluorosis is an irreversible disease, prevention of it will permanently save large amounts of funds, which would otherwise be needed for rehabilitation of those affected.
• With good health, a permanent loss in National productivity can be prevented.
